The quatrain said, “Two steel birds will fall from the sky on the metropolis.” Still, there are a lot of clues in the text claiming that it is not only not an accurate prediction but also not even one penned by Nostradamus himself. Live Science says that steel had not even been invented until over two centuries after it was allegedly written! There was no way that it was written by the seer himself. It must, therefore, be a hoax.

Yearly Horoscope also said that Nostradamus wrote about how the Muslim faith would take over Europe and the rest of the world. Even though this would allegedly take “decades,” the website said that the beginning of the shift is going to become clear in 2021. The quatrain in question said, “Because of French discord and negligence, An opening shall be given to the Mohammedans. The land and sea of Siena will be soaked in blood, And the port of Marseilles covered with ships and sails.”

With so many troubles ahead of us, it is not all that surprising to hear that he also foretold a resurgence of the Catholic religion. If you believe The Whistleblower on Facebook, it is going to be spearheaded by Pope Francis. In 2020, the social media account said that the seer claimed that the religious leader will give the Church a “lifeboat” for the people who will be affected by the famine, war, and solar flares.

Overall, Nostradamus came up with over 6,000 predictions. A couple of people think that a lot of them have already come true. It is a good thing that his writings go all the way to 3797, so we have a ton more to enjoy. In fact, it might even be a source of comfort to think that the world would still be around so far into the future. Of course, other people have stayed skeptical about his visions and alleged ability to predict the future. They think that the gullible only convince themselves by fitting the facts to his poems.

He has given praise to the more concrete aspects of it. “Appreciate his contributions to medicine and Renaissance literature, and don’t trivialize his good works in favor of a pretended history of paranormal magical powers,” he said. However, the enduring popularity of the prophet only goes to show that people like to hear prophecies.

The Daily Express itself gave evidence for this when they spoke to a medium by the name of Craig Hamilton-Parker. He gave his opinions on what the future had in store for us in 2021. They did not really match Nostradamus when it comes to his predictions. Instead, he said, “Britain will become a world leader in quantum computing and artificial intelligence.” He went on to say that there are free trade zones to draw in tech companies and big pharma into the pipeline. The future seems good for the U.K.

The “popularity,” if you can call it that, of his message has landed him TV appearances every week. He would then talk about the upcoming apocalypse in front of the cameras. The medium does not make a close reading of the French seer but looks at the Bible for his predictions.
