The Juice Stand
Armed with newfound experience and entrepreneurship but still lacking financial ability, Poojari erected a makeshift juice stand. Using a small wooden table and a manual juice machine, he began to sell various freshly-squeezed juices. Using a tiny hand-written board, Poojari named the stand, ‘Sukh Sagar’, meaning Ocean of Happiness.
Juice Success
With great success, Sukh Sagar became a fully registered brand. It even inspired other Sagars worldwide. It has even celebrated its 50th anniversary recently! Having much of its success coming from middle and lower-middle class customers who appreciated the value for money that Poojari’s juices (and now food) gave them.
