Mermaid
Mermaids have fascinated people over the years because of their peculiar allure. The origins of myths about half-human, half-fish beings can be traced all the way back to Babylon. Merpeople can also be found in Syrian, Polynesian, and Ancient Greek. While some cultures portrayed mermaids as glamorous and romantic (in Irish mythology, mermaids might turn into human form and marry humans), other cultures portrayed them as evil and competent of hastening and causing a catastrophe.
Minotaur
According to Greek mythology, the Minotaur was the son of the Goddess of Crete and a mighty bull who came from the sea. The Minotaur had a human body and a bull’s head and tail. King Minos was so appalled by this development that he had a complex maze called the Labyrinth designed to imprison him.
