We don’t really know if Prince Philip disapproved of Meghan Markle at first, but he has shown us that he likes her. For one thing, the royal was one of the first people who met their child, Archie. He was, of course, present in the family photoshoot that happened after the child was born. Aside from that, he surprised everyone on the day of the royal wedding. He appeared there even though he had been recovering from a medical operation at the time. We can take it to mean that he approves of her!
