How did the miscarriage happen? Meghan Markle shared that she “dropped to the floor” after a wave of pain. She had been changing Archie’s diaper at the time. “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second,” she shared in the New York Times. She went on, “Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few.”
