Anisocoria
Anisocoria is a condition in which the pupils of the eyes are not proportional in size. It affects up to 20% of the population and is usually harmless, but it can be a symptom of more serious medical issues. A difference of 0.4 mm or more between the sizes of the pupils of the eyes defines the condition.
Anisocoria can be caused by a variety of conditions ranging from benign to life-threatening. Anisocoria, on the other hand, is typically a benign finding that is unaccompanied by other symptoms. Anisocoria was exhibited by English singer David Bowie as a result of a teenage injury.
Dermatographia
Dermatographia, also known as skin writing, is a condition in which lightly scratching your skin causes welts or raised, red lines to appear where you scratched. It’s not a serious condition, but it can be inconvenient. This is a problem that affects two to five percent of the population. Nonetheless, it’s one of the most common types of hives, accounting for seven to ten percent of all skin rashes and swelling.
Fortunately, episodes of dermatographia are usually brief. Dermatographia is a condition that is commonly seen in young adults, but researchers do not believe it has a strong genetic link. Exercise, heat, cold, stress, and vibration are just a few examples of factors that can aggravate the condition.
