Photic Sneeze Reflex
We all sneeze, it’s no secret. It is, after all, our body’s way of clearing irritants from our nose and throat. Did you know, however, that photic sneeze reflex is a genetic tendency? This is a condition in which sneezing occurs in response to various stimuli, such as bright lights. A change in light intensity, rather than a specific wavelength of light, appears to trigger the reflex.
If you sneeze when you step outside and look into the sun, you probably have photic sneeze reflex. You may believe that this condition affects everyone, but only 18% to 35% of the world’s population is affected.
Single Crease
A single palmar crease is a crease that runs the length of the palm of the hand. While most people’s palms have three creases, a single crease can indicate developmental issues and be linked to certain disorders, though a single crease is often normal.
A single crease appears in about one out of every 30 people, with males being twice as likely as females to develop it. You are one of the very few people who have it. However, we’re guessing you already knew that.
