Teretha Hollis-Neely
At the beginning of the fourth season, we learned that Teretha Hollis-Neely weighed nearly 800 pounds. For two years, she could not get out of bed. In only two months, she dropped over 200 pounds. While she lost 340 pounds over the course of the show, she still could not stand up on her own. When she appeared on the follow-up, she got approval to get a lymphedema operation for her legs. After the surgery, she started to get cellulitis therapy. We are glad that she has stayed positive through all of this.
Randy Statum
When his daughter told him that he was “too fat to be a father,” it was clear that something was wrong. Randy Statum had been suffering from weight issues his entire life, but things got worse once he was 640 pounds heavy. He wanted a change. After getting gastric bypass surgery and working hard, he was clocked in at 350 pounds. If you check out his social media, you will see that he is now much slimmer.
