While a woman was performing overhead triceps extensions with a double rope attachment at one of the cable columns, an older gentleman approached her. This man came over, unclipped her attachment, and applied the pushdown attachment as she was resting between sets. He then proceeded to show his technique and suggested she use his attachment instead of her own.

She said that she liked her way of doing things because she was following a certain training plan that required it. Needless to say, this man was upset and walked away when she shut him down. She went back to her original attachment and stowed his. If you’re going to give advice to someone who hasn’t asked for it, don’t do it.

A woman was doing biceps curls with 15-pound dumbbells at the gym one time. Then this guy kept staring at her, which made her feel uneasy. He eventually walked over and showed her how to make curls “properly.”
