Haggling Gone Out of Hand
It’s tough, isn’t it, when playing the single parent card doesn’t work and you have to haggle like a normal person? Being a single parent is difficult, but using that as an excuse to get what they want all of the time is unethical. The books were first bid at $30 by a woman.
She was disappointed to find that the books had already been sold, so she tried again, quoting $40 this time. The books, unfortunately for her, had already been sold for a higher price.

This person, whoever they are, needs to improve their vocabulary. He proposed $40 for a phone that he knows costs more than $400. Naturally, the seller was adamant about not selling. It didn’t make any sense to me. The potential buyer was taken aback when they said they would sell it for $490.
He claimed that a Samsung model could be had for $375. His friend, to no one’s surprise, asked why he was bothering them when he could just get a Samsung for that price. Who was he trying to deceive?
