It is undeniable that Hollywood is a place where marriages and relationships perish. However, there are several exceptions to the norm. We take a look at some of the famous couples, who, despite their glitz, glamor, and drama, managed to stay together.

Michelle Pfeiffer & David E. Kelley – 26 Years
On a blind date in 1993, Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelly ended up going bowling together (believe it or not). In what would be a typical of a whirlwind romance, they tied the knot 10 months after first meeting.
This Hollywood romance has lasted more than 25 years, which is remarkable considering how many of them seem to start and end in the blink of an eye. Apparently, Kelly’s support left an impression on Michelle, according to reliable sources.
Tim McGraw & Faith Hill – 22 Years
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill met at the New Faces Show in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1994, while they were both trying to break into the music industry. McGraw was dating someone else at the time, and Hill had recently divorced.

Victoria & David Beckham – 19 Years
Although their famous reputation has made them the target of continual rumors and divorce speculation, since 1999, the pop singer / fashion designer and professional footballer have married just two years after they began dating.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell – 37 Years
Even though Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell aren’t married, they know a thing or two about love. After all, they’re one of Hollywood’s most renowned couples, proving that you don’t have to marry someone you love simply because you love them.
Although Hawn was 21 years old in 1966 and Russell was 16, the two had no first date until 1983. The two think that the secret to a good relationship is communication, saying that a “lasting relationship isn’t about marriage. It’s about compatibility and communication. And you both need to want it to work.”

Michael J. Fox & Tracy Pollan – 30 Years
Hollywood may break up some relationships, but it can also bring people together, as in Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan, who met on the set of Family Ties, playing love interests Allen and Ellen.

Julia Roberts & Danny Moder – 16 Years
It’s incredible that Julia Roberts, who is so well-known and sought-after, has managed to maintain a stable marriage for so long. Roberts has no plans to divorce her husband Danny Moder anytime soon, despite starring roles in films like Notting Hill and Pretty Woman.
Moder was actually married at the time they met, as he was working as a cameraman on the set of one of her films. Regardless, she just had to be with him.
Viola Davis & Julius Tennon – 17 Years
Viola Davis had given up on love until she met Julius Tennon, the love of her life. Davis literally prayed for Tennon, and the two met less than a month later. Chris Henchy is an American screenwriter and producer who married Brooke Shields, a model, and actress, in 2001. In 1999, they met on the Warner Bros. lot through a mutual friend. Billy & Janice Crystal – 47 Years
Billy Crystal and his wife, who played Sally in When Harry Met Sally, have been married for 49 years! This is almost unheard of, given that most Hollywood marriages end in a few short years…if they’re lucky. So, what exactly is the secret?
Crystal revealed in an interview with Us that he and Janice “laugh a lot. We’ve grown together, we’ve parented together, we’ve grand-parented together. I’m lucky that I found the person when I was 18.” Beyond that, Crystal revealed that he and his beloved wife “just keep listening to each other.”

The couple has been married for 37 years and has two lovely daughters. However, given the couple’s lack of public appearances, it’s clear that they prefer to keep their personal lives private, which could also be a secret to their happy marriage.
Steven & Maureen Van Zandt – 36 Years
With many strings to his bow, it’s not too surprising that the actor/musician could hold down a stable relationship over the years. He has been married to Maureen Santoro since 1983. Funnily enough, Santoro also played Van Zandt’s on-screen wife in The Sopranos!
The couple has two lovely daughters and has been married for 37 years. However, given their lack of public appearances, it’s clear that the couple prefers to keep their personal lives private, which could be a key to their happy marriage.
Christopher & Georgianne Walken – 49 Years
Married life and filmmaking aren’t easy to combine, which is why movie stars are notorious for having trouble balancing their professional and personal lives. However, Christopher Walken, who has a reputation for being talented in all areas, is here to disprove that stereotype.
He’s appeared in over 100 films since beginning his acting career in the 1950s, and he’s been happily married to his wife, Georgianne, for nearly 50 years. Her work as a casting director in Hollywood also occupies a significant portion of her time.

They’re taking walks in Bronx Park, stealing time from Alda’s military service…and getting married within a few pages. Then, you wait for the other shoe to drop on the 224-page book: petty arguments, ugly affairs, divorce… nothing.
Ron & Cheryl Howard – 43 Years
Although Ron Howard and writer Cheryl Alley have been married since 1975, they appear to be as happy as ever. Two of their four beautiful children, like their father, have pursued acting careers of their own, though he has since switched to directing.
He said of his wife, “I felt really lucky when we met.” But, he said, “It’s crazy — we were teenagers, it shouldn’t have worked. We got married young, that shouldn’t have worked either, and yet it really and truly has.”
Jeff & Susan Bridges – 42 years
Jeff Bridges found himself starring in another big, romantic drama: his own relationship with the woman who would one day become his wife, just as he was starting to get noticed and looking at a potentially huge career. He fell in love with Susan, a waitress on the 1975 country film Rancho Deluxe.

Jamie Lee Curtis & Christopher Guest – 35 years
Jamie Lee Curtis is known for portraying a wide range of characters, from touching to angsty, but one of her many talents is making people laugh. So it’s no surprise that she’s married to Christopher Guest, a mockumentary legend.

Young love is always viewed with suspicion, and rightly so, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Brad Hall made it work spectacularly. They met as college students at Northwestern University, and they still love each other as if it were yesterday, 31 years later.
Julia’s success surpassed Brad’s and many others after her renowned success on the long-running show Seinfeld – she has won more Emmy Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards than any other performer. But it didn’t seem to affect their love!

Nothing is more romantic than Shakespeare. Shakespeare brought Sting and Trudie Styler together for the rest of their lives. They were neighbors at the time, and Sting was married. They started dating in 1982, but it took another ten years to tie the knot officially.

Kirk Douglas & Anne Buydens – 64 Years
On this one, Kirk Douglas and Anne Buydens take the wedding cake. Few other Hollywood couples have been married for as long as they have, having been married since 1954. And now that they are both over 100 years old, it appears that they will love each other until death do them part.

This couple may have had a few stumbling blocks along the way, but we think it’s safe to say it was love at first sight. Rogen proposed to her in 2010, only six years after they first met and began dating.

The actor himself, according to him, “I see a [therapist] from time to time when I’m feeling edgy or anxiety-ridden. My wife and I go to a couples’ therapist.
